quEAR: audio festival 5-7 August 2011

quEAR, das trans*tonale Ohrenfest bringt Hörstücke, Hörperformances und Klanginstallationen zu Ohr, die sich mit den Themen „Trans*, Inter, Queer“ befassen. Lärm ist woanders. Die ruhigeren Töne sind gefragt. Das Audiofestival findet nach dem D.I.Y.-Prinzip statt. Es werden auch Workshops angeboten. quEAR ist in dieser Form hierzulande neu. Das Festival soll ein Forum schaffen, auf dem Arbeiten aus diesem Bereich vorgestellt und diskutiert werden können. quEAR, the Trans*tonal Ear Festival offers auditory tracks, performances 
and sound installations that deal with the themes of “trans*, inter, and queer.
 Noise is elsewhere. Emphasized are soft sounds. quEAR is a sensitive exploration
 of the auditory channels, with sounds, voices, tones, melodies, and of course stories. 
Based on D.I.Y. we will offer workshops too. Join the first queer audio festival in Berlin!
